"Salmond's quitting" was the email I received yesterday. Alas not quite.
I sit here ten minutes before 'the budget vote' that could consign ol' wobbly face to the dole queue.
I have to say this is a masterstroke of political class on Salmond's part. Genius.
I don't even like the guy that much but any chance to punish such an inept operation as the Scottish Labour Party, either by shaming them or taking a few of their seats, right now is welcomed by me.
I really, god I really hope they reject the budget and he does resign, it would make Scottish politics even better to watch than it has been since. Imagine Wendy trying to run an election just now? Could be the funniest thing since...er...clowns!
